About the Domain Manager-Stats License

All of the “license to use” options for NetMetrix correspond to software

ﬁlesets in the installation except for the Domain Manager-Stats option.

If you purchase a Domain Manager-Stats license and want to install only

that software, follow the NetMetrix installation instructions and choose

the Domain Manager ﬁleset.

When you have completed the installation, remove the Protocol Analyzer

software (which is included in the Domain Manager license, but not in

Domain Manager-Stats).

To remove the unlicensed Protocol Analyzer ﬁles, cd to /usr/netm/hp or

/usr/netm/sun4s (for HP-UX or Solaris, respectively), and give a

command like this:

# rm protanal*

Removing these ﬁles ensures that no one can use Protocol Analyzer, even

within the 60-day “instant on” license window.
