The Media Streaming options panel item appears.

5. Select Allowed from the drop-down menu for your Mediaroom device and then click OK.

6. Your PC is now conﬁgured to share media with your set-top box.

Using Personal Media with your PC

To access Personal Media, follow these steps (these steps are only necessary for initial set-up or when selecting

different source pc’s):

1. Press MENU on your remote control. Scroll across the top menu bar to TDS Applications.

2. Select Personal Media.

3. At the Welcome to Personal Media screen, select Continue.

4. Select Connect to my computer. If properly connected, the DVR will scan the network and show the list of

computers available for sharing.

5. Select the computer you have set up to view on your TV.

By default, the Music Grid screen appears.


