3. If there is a Severe Weather Alert for your local area, you will be presented with the following notification
under the current tab:
4. When the Severe Weather alert icon is flashing, use the UP or DOWN ARROW buttons on your remote to
select the Severe Weather icon on your screen. Once selected, press the OK button on your remote.
5. From this screen, you can view details of the severe weather alert. To scroll though the details of the Severe
Weather Alert, select the either the UP or DOWN ARROW above or below the text of the Severe Weather
Alert message (highlighted in Yellow). Once either the UP or DOWN ARROW is selected, press the OK
button on your remote to scroll through the Severe Weather Alert message.
Using the local weather application – forecast tab:
1. By selecting the forecast tab, you will be able to view the 5 day weather forecast for your local area:
Using the local weather application – radar tab:
1. By selecting the radar tab, you will be able to view your local, regional, and the national weather radar.
2. If you would like to pause the radar animation, using the UP or DOWN ARROW buttons on your remote,
select the still image icon on the right side of your screen (highlighted in yellow). Once selected, press
the OK button on your remote. If you would like to resume the radar animation, press the OK button again.
Exiting the local Weather Application:
1. If at any time you would like to exit the Weather Application, select the small “X” icon in the lower right-
hand corner (highlighted in yellow), and press the OK button on your remote.
a. You can also exit the Weather Application at any time by using any one of the following methods.
1) Press the Exit to TV button the remote
