Cisco UCS C460 M2 High-Performance Rack-Mount Server

CONFIGURING the SERVER

Caveats

■ CPU3 must be installed to support PCIe slots 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10.

■ Legacy I/O devices such as video cards are only supported on slots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8.

■ The Cisco Card NIC mode is currently supported only with a Cisco UCS P81E Virtual Interface

Card (N2XX-ACPCI01) that is installed in PCIe slot 1.

■ The C460 server accommodates two P81E Virtual Interface cards (VICs). These cards are

supported only in slots 1 and 2. Note, however, that if the server is running UCSM, only slot

1 is supported for the VIC card.

■ All PCIe slots are standard-height and require a standard-height mounting bracket on the

PCIe card.
