The Cisco Catalyst Express 500 Series Switches are a family of fixed-

configuration, Layer 2 managed Ethernet devices that provide the reliability,

The Catalyst 500 Express Series offer nonblocking, wire-speed performance

that provides a secure network foundation optimized for data, wireless, and

The Catalyst Express 500 Series also offer Power over Ethernet (PoE), reducing

This eliminates the need to provide separate power outlets and cables for

wireless access points, closed-circuit TV cameras, and IP phones.
